Cumucore and partners demonstrated industrial-grade gPTP synchronisation over a 5G Standalone private network during the 5G-ACIA Industrial 5G Day in Helsinki. Using Askey’s SCE2120 small cell, Qualcomm’s Dragonwing FSM100 platform, Node-H’s RAN software, and Cumucore’s TSN-capable 5G core, the showcase proved that wireless time synchronisation can meet requirements previously achievable only with wired systems.
